I’ve been using this program for a number of years and have seen it grow from a basic screen capture tool, to a pretty powerful one. You can add text, jagged edges, custom shapes think arrows , highlights, drawings, all within the same program.

What’s more is the video recording capabilities are excellent–you can set the recording area, the frame rate, and you can actually zoom in while you’re recording. The built in ruler is pretty spiffy. Pros: The ability to add blur, spotlight, add edges, captions, stamps, add text, and so much more Cons: Maybe add a way to round trip between FasStone Capture and Photoshop Maybe the ability to change codecs for the video recording More.
